Literature
Born in 1879 in Scotland, Robert Proctor came to Christchurch in 1886. He studied at the Canterbury School of Fine Art, and with Petres Van der Velden. He taught & exhibited around Christchurch most of his career, but moved to Melbourne in 1928 where he died in 1931.
